WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's swimming & diving team earned a decisive BIG EAST victory on Saturday afternoon, defeating host Villanova 167–132 at the Villanova Swim Complex. On the women's side, the Hoyas battled hard in conference action but fell to the Wildcats 201–87.

MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Owen Watkins dominated the sprint events, taking first place in the 50 free (20.17) and the 100 free (45.20).
- Trever Cottrell sprinted to a victory in the 200 free with a time of 1:39.39.
- AJ Farner led the distance field in the 1000 free, clocking a winning time of 9:36.57.
- Lucas Knapp touched first in both the 500 free (4:31.28) and the 200 butterfly (1:48.44).
- Holden Brown captured top honors in the 100 butterfly with a time of 49.11.
- Daren Chen took first in the 100 backstroke (49.99), while Ronan Krauss won the 200 backstroke in 1:50.31.
- The 400 medley relay quartet of Daren Chen, Michael Mostofi, Holden Brown, and Owen Watkins earned a dominant first-place finish with a time of 3:17.72.
- The 200 free relay team of Owen Watkins, Holden Brown, Trever Cottrell, and Alek Arsic closed out the day in winning fashion, touching first in 1:22.40.
