WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University cross country programs will open their seasons at the Spider Alumni Open, hosted by the University of Richmond, on Saturday, September 5. The meet will consist of a collegiate men's 6K and women's 4K at the Pole Green Park Cross Country Course in Mechanicsville, Virginia.
 
 
Meet Coverage

• The meet will begin at 9:08 a.m. with the men's 6K, followed by the women's 4K at 9:50 a.m.

• The women's team enters the season ranked No. 29 in the national preseason poll from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) and is ranked fifth in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
