Prior to Georgetown: Laforce attended Woodside High School in Woodside, California … He rowed for Norcal Crew where he medaled in the 4- and the 4+ categories at the 2016 Southwest Regional Championships … He also finished in 11th-place in the Varsity 8+ at the 2017 Youth Nationals in Sarasota, Florida.
