2015:  Started in six games on the mound as a redshirt  senior … Compiled an 0-3 record with a 7.98 ERA and four strikeouts in 14.2 innings … Pitched a season-high three innings on three occasions - February 25 at George Washington, March 25 at UMES and April 22 vs. UMES … Had two strikeouts on April 22 vs. UMES.

2014:  Made two starts before having his season cut short due to injury (redshirt). Will return for a fifth year of eligibility... Struck out 10 in five innings in the season-opener against Marshall on Feb. 15... Had three strikeouts in one inning against Hartford on Feb. 21... At the time of his injury, Vander Linden was leading the nation with a 19.5 strikeout per nine innings ratio.

2013: Appeared in 13 games, starting them all ... Led the Hoyas in innings pitched (69.2), batting average against (.227) and strikeouts (46) ... Picked up the win, allowing no earned runs while striking out five against Lafayette (2/23) ... Allowed just one earned run in 6.1 innings of work against Air Force (3/2) ... Picked up the win, while throwing five scoreless innings and striking out a season high seven batters against UConn (3/22) ... Threw seven scoreless innings against South Florida (3/28) ... Threw a season high eight innings, while allowing no runs, in a win against St. John's (4/12).

2012: Appeared in 15 games, making nine starts ... Tied for team lead in wins (5), struck out 34 in 65.1 innings of work ... Made first career appearance and start against Coppin State (2/22), throwing two innings, giving up no runs, striking out two ... Earned first career win in second start against UMBC (2/25) while throwing a season high eight innings, striking out three, and giving up four earned runs ... Second win came from two innings in relief against Iowa (3/10), giving up one run, striking out two ... Earned first career BIG EAST win and start against Villanova (4/15), scattering six hits on two runs, striking out a season high four batters in seven innings ... Final win of season came against West Virginia (5/11), throwing seven innings, giving up three runs on seven hits.

2011: Did not see game action (redshirt).

Prior to Georgetown: Vander Linden earned All-South Zone (all-conference) as a junior, was named to the All-Private School team, earned the team's most valuable player award and was named to the Headfirst Honor Roll National Team ... He was selected as the team's most improved player as a sophomore ... Played the last three years with the DBat Mustangs.
