2014: ...Played in 61 sets for GU as a freshman...Ranked sixth on the team for digs with 137, averaging 2.25 digs per set...Had four matches with at least 10 digs with a season high of 14 against Villanova (10/10)...Ranked second on the team for assists with 474, averaging 7.77 assists per set...Had a season high of 63 assists against DePaul (10/24).

Prior to Georgetown: Playedfour years of varsity volleyball at Riverside High School ... Started as Riverside's libero for the first three years before becoming the primary setter as a senior .... A two-time captain, Speer helped lead Riverside to a 26-2 record in 2013 .... She was named to the all-conference team in each of her first three seasons before being named the PAC-6 Player of the Year after her senior year ... She was voted as Riverside's best defensive player in each of her first three years as well as the team's MVP as a junior and senior.

Williams on Speer:"Casey is a hard-working libero/defensive specialist who knows and loves the game. She spent last summer training with the USA Youth National A2 Team and did an excellent job in Colorado Springs, stepping up her game even more. Not only is she good with the first contact, Casey set for her high school and led them to the state tournament this past fall.
