Prior to Georgetown: Two-year starter at Isidore Newman School, serving as a team captain as a senior … As a junior, named to the New Orleans Advocate All-Metro Team, Times Picayune All-Metro Team and Louisiana Sportsline All-State Team … As a senior, earned 12-2a All-District and Co-Offensive MVP honors and was named to the Times Picayune All-Metro Team, the LFCA 2a All-State Team and the LFCA All-State Composite Team … Helped lead Isidore Newman to an undefeated regular season and a district championship in 2017 … Led team to state semifinals in both 2017 and 2018 … As a senior broke the school record for passing yards in a season (3,232) and touchdown passes in a season (51), both of which were held by Peyton Manning … Also set the school record for total touchdowns in a season (54) … Finished career with 6,213 yards passing, 88 total touchdowns and a 65-percent completion percentage … Also an all-district player in baseball.
