POSITION: Intern, Georgetown Equipment - Football

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Want to be a part of the excitement? The Georgetown Football Equipment staff is looking for interns to jump into the action during the 2025 Football season. The function of the Equipment Intern is to assist the Director of Equipment in day-to-day football duties. Traveling to and from away games to set up the locker room and field for game days is a crucial duty. Other duties include but are not limited to organizing and setting up the football field for daily practice, i.e. football bags and cones, hand shields, step over bags. This position will work closely with the Director of Equipment and Football coaches throughout the season and will also be responsible for field clean up post practice to ensure the equipment is cleared from the field, organized and properly stored. You will receive the knowledge of the role of a Football Equipment Manager on and off the field.
PAY: Unpaid Internship position, for credit if needed
LOCATION: Cooper Field & Thompson Athletic Center, Georgetown University
REQUIREMENTS: 15-30 hours per week, Will need to work weekend days
