Georgetown Sports Properties, the exclusive marketing and multimedia rights partner of Georgetown Athletics, is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Intern on the campus of Georgetown University in Washington DC.

Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in operational duties related to contract fulfillment, hospitality, radio broadcasts and perform other tasks as required to help ensure the success of Georgetown Sports Properties partners. 
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (including but not limited to the following):

• Support Manager of Partner Services and General Manager with day-to-day tasks necessary to ensure the overall success of Georgetown Sports Properties
• Assist with the execution of all Men’s Basketball Games played at Capital One Arena and elements related to the production of these events, on game days and non-game days
• Assist with compiling partner recaps and proof of performance
• Assist with radio affidavit tracking and radio log development
• Take photos and documentation of promotions, signage, and contractual elements to maintain an accurate image library for annual recaps
• Research potential corporate partners and monitor industry trends
• Assist with capturing digital and social media proof of performance
• Assist with year-end partnership recaps
• Represent Playfly Sports, Georgetown Sports Properties, Georgetown Athletics and Georgetown University in a professional manner
   

Requirements:

• Responsible for attending all home Georgetown Men’s Basketball Games played at Capital One Arena and other assigned sports home games including but not limited to Women’s Basketball, Men’s Soccer, Women’s Soccer, Men’s Lacrosse, Women’s Lacrosse (includes afternoon, night, and weekend games)
• Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 25 pounds occasionally
• Must be able to safely climb ladders
• Physical ability to work sitting, standing, walking, and climbing stairs
• Office Hours TBD on schedule and availability (weekly hours and schedule to be determined by event schedule)

 
Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a full-time student at Georgetown University
• Immediate start date with 2023-2024 school year commitment, ending April 30, 2024
