POSITION: Graduate Assistant, Facilities, Events & Operations

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Georgetown Athletics is seeking applicants to fulfill Events and Operations Graduate Assistant positions for the 2025-26 Academic School Year. This position will report to the Director for Facilities, Events & Operations and work closely with other athletic office departments to facilitate successful gameday management.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Georgetown Athletics Events and Operations Graduate Assistant will assist in a variety of areas, including facility operations, game day operations, event management, administrative tasks, customer service, event planning, departmental communication, payment of officials and game staff and other duties as assigned. The intern will report to the Director of Facilities, Events & Operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
Currently a graduate student in the Sports Industry Management program or a related field. Strong organizational skills, initiative and attention to detail. Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds. Must be able to operate office equipment and various computer software. Ability to attend all home events for assigned sport, as well as weekly office hours.
COMPENSATION:
This is an hourly, paid position and can be used as an internship for credit. Preference will be given to applicants in graduate school.
