2018: Appeared and started in 54 games in the outfield as a senior ... Finished the season with a .223 batting average (41 for 184) ... Ranked second on the team with 32 runs scored and 11 stolen base and tied for second on the team with three home runs … Also had six doubles and 18 RBIs … Recorded eight multi-hit games, including three three-hit games ... Also had a team-high eight sacrifice bunts … Was on base five times with two singles and three walks and scored four runs against Coppin State (March 14) … Had two hits, three RBIs and two runs scored at Butler (May 11).

2017: Appeared in 34 games, making six starts in the outfield as a junior … Finished with a .273 (9-for-33) batting average with two doubles, three RBIs and seven runs scored … Also had nine walks, to just seven strikeouts … Had a pinch-hit double in his first at-bat of the season at Davidson (2/18) … Had two hits in two at-bats at Mount St. Mary’s (2/18).

2016: Appeared in 37 games, making 33 starts (30 LF, 3 DH) ... Finished with a .246 (32-for-130) batting average with eight doubles, seven RBI and 22 runs scored ... Ranked fifth on the team in walks (18) and stolen bases (5) ... Registered nine multi-hit games and one multi-RBI game ... Had a double in five-straight games, March 26 -- April 3 ... Went 3-for-5 with a double, RBI and run scored on April 2 at William & Mary ... Named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on April 4.

2015: Appeared in 40 games, starting 34 games in left field as a freshman … Finished the season batting .236 (30-for-127) with two doubles, 17 RBI and 25 runs scored … Led the Hoyas with 10 stolen bases, finishing a perfect 10-for-10 on the season and tied for third with 22 walks … Had six multiple-hit games … Began the season with a 10-game hitting streak, tying for the team high all season … Had a three-hit performance with two RBI and two runs scored on March 27 at Lipscomb … Scored four runs on March 13 vs. Western Michigan.

Prior to Georgetown: Played three years of varsity baseball at Conestoga ... Was the team captain as both a junior and senior ... Named First Team All-Area as a senior after leading Conestoga to the Class AAAA Pennsylvania State Championship Game ... Also helped Conestoga win a state championship as a freshman in 2010 ... An honors student in the classroom, Shirley received the President's Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence upon graduation.
