Registered three multi-hit games and three multi-RBI games ... Went 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI in his first-career game on March 30 at Coppin State ... Went 2-for-4 with a home run, double, three RBI and two runs scored on April 1 at William & Mary ... Hit a three-run home run on April 12 against George Mason.

Prior to Georgetown: Sanchez was a two-year member of the varsity baseball team at Minooka Community High School, serving as a team captain as both a junior and senior … He was named to the all-area and all-conference teams in both 2014 and 2015 as well as the IHSBCA All-State Team in 2015 … In his two seasons on the varsity team, Minooka went 47-20, winning both a conference and regional championship … Off the baseball field, Sanchez was a four-year member of the high honor roll.
