Prior to Georgetown: Was a four-year starter at Phillips Andover Academy, serving as a team captain his senior year ... As a senior, was named ABCA/Rawlings First Team All-Northeast Region, First Team All-Central New England Prep School (CNEPS) Baseball League, Eagle Tribune First Team All-Star, Central New England Prep School Baseball League Most Valuable Player and the Phillips Academy Varsity Baseball MVP ... Was also the recipient of the Raymond T. Tippet Memorial Award (given to a member of the baseball or football l for loyalty, courage, and modesty) ... Helped lead Phillips Andover to a CNEPS championship in both his freshman and senior seasons ... Batted .493 as a senior with a .701 slugging percentage, .667 on-base percentage, two home runs and 18 RBI ... Was also a two-year starter on the football team, helping lead the squad to a CNEPS championship in 2013, and was a team captain as a senior when he was named the Defensive MVP ...
