Played for the Albany Dutchmenin the New York CollegiateLeague in the summer of 2014. Batted .246 (15-for-61) with two doubles, two triples and six RBI in 23 games.

High School: Spent one year apiece at both Sycamore (2009-10) and Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy (2010-11) before becoming a two-year letterwinner at Pingry School in both baseball and football ... Earned First Team All-Conference and Second Team All-Area honors as a junior in 2012 after tossing a complete-game shutout in the county tournament game on the road ... Led Pingry to a conference championship as a senior tight end and linebacker ... Earned all-conference and all-area distinctions in football ... Was named Special Teams Player of the Year in 2011 and Mr. Big Play in 2012 ... Coached by Brien Miller at Sycamore, Larry Redwine at Cincinnati Hills and Ted Corvino, Jr. at Pingry ...
