Prior to Georgetown: Three-year starter at Park Hill South High School, being named a team captain for his senior year … Helped lead Park Hill South to the district championship game as a junior, starting the championship game … Also a three-year starter and captain of the football team, earning all-conference, all-district and all-state honors … In the classroom, has been named academic all-state each of his first three years … Cousin, Steve Beuerlein, was a quarterback in the NFL for 15 seasons.
