- Appeared in 20 games as a freshman averaging 1.9 points and 1.7 rebounds per game.
- Scored a career-high 13 points against Vanderbilt (2/6/24) while shooting 6-for-6 on the day. Recorded a career-high five rebounds against the Commodores and Texas A&M-Commerce.
- Grabbed four boards while dishing out two assists as UK was plus-19 with him on the floor against No. 1 Kansas.

PRIOR TO COLLEGE
- Began his career at Heritage Christian in Decatur, Alabama before attending school at the Southern California Academy. Burks then suited up for Hillcrest Prep with Overtime Elite to finish his high school career.
- While with Overtime Elite, Burks led the league with 27.1 points per game in 2022-23 while chipping in 7.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.4 steals per game.
- Scored 20 or more points in all but one game for Overtime Elite and posted a season-high 42 points against OTE competition.
- Burks shot 46.7% on his field-goal attempts and was 26.7% from 3-point range.
