Biography
2024-25
- Played in and started 32 games; missing a pair due to injury. Averaged 34.8 minutes, 12.9 points, 4.3 assists and 3.6 rebounds per game while shooting 35.5% from behind the arc.
- Named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on January 6 after GU posted a 2-0 week with wins over Coppin State (83-53) and Xavier (69-63). Mack averaged 20.5 ppg on 48.1% shooting, including 42.9% from beyond the arc. Over the two-game stretch, the sophomore chipped in 7.0 apg and 2.5 rpg.
- Posted 20 points in a half twice over the course of the season with the first instance coming on January 3 when Mack scored 20 in the second half against Xavier. Mack did it a second time on March 31, against Washington State in the College Basketball Crown, as the sophomore recorded 20 points in the first half.
- Tallied double digits 21 times in 32 games scoring a season-best 37 against Washington State in the first round of the College Basketball Crown. The sophomore dished out five or more assists 12 times and had 14 games where he drained two or more triples.
2023-24 AT HARVARD
- Played in and started 24 games; missed three games due to illness. Averaged 33.2 minutes, 17.2 points, 4.8 assists, and 4.0 rebounds per game while shooting 34.1 percent from behind the arc.
- Named Ivy League Rookie of the Year while also garnering All-Ivy Honorable Mention and First Team NABC All-District.
- Mack was tabbed as the ECAC Rookie of the Year and earned a nod to the First Team All-ECAC while being named a finalist for the Lou Jenson Award and the Kyle Macy Award. Named Raymond P. Lavietes ‘36 Most Valuable Player Award for his contributions during his freshman campaign.
- Won Ivy League Rookie of the Week eight times (Nov. 13, Nov. 20, Nov. 27, Dec. 4, Jan. 16, Jan. 22, Feb. 5, Feb. 12), setting a program record and tying the Ivy League record.
- Set program’s single-season points record for a first-year (413 points), scored in double figures 21 times, netted 20 or more points eight times and dished out five or more assists 14 times.
- Ranked first in the Ivy League in assists per game (4.8), third in points per game (17.2), third in free throw percentage (81.3), fourth in free throws (100), fourth in minutes per game (33.4), and sixth in steals per game (1.3)
- Led the team in points per game, minutes per game, assists per game, and steals per game
- Scored 32 points with six assists in a contest at UMass (Nov. 17); tied for the sixth-highest point total for a first-year in the nation on the season, netted 27 points at Indiana (Nov. 26) at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
PRIOR TO COLLEGE
- Selected as the 2022-23 Gatorade Player of the Year for Washington, D.C.
- A four-year letterwinner (2019-23) at St. John’s College High School in Washington, D.C., where he led the team to a 32-4 record as a senior, ranking as a top-25 team in the nation according to MaxPreps and ESPN.
- Captained his squad during his final two years at St. John’s College High School earning All-Met Third Team as a junior and First Team All-Met as a senior.
- Named to the All-Washington Catholic Athletic Conference twice while also being tabbed as an All-SCSAA twice. Also led his team to Washington Catholic Athletic Conference title.
- Competed on the AAU circuit for Team Takeover. Ranked as a three-star recruit out of high school by 247Sports.com.
