Biography

2024-25
  • Appeared in and started 32 games for GU averaging 37.0 minutes per game.
  • Peavy was named to the All-BIG EAST First Team and averaged 16.9 ppg for the year and 19.2 ppg in BIG EAST play.
  • The graduate student finished the regular season leading the conference in steals per game, picking 2.3 pockets per game. He added 5.7 rpg and 3.6 apg.
  • Shot 48.1% (219-455) while shooting at a 40.0% (52-130) clip from beyond the arc.
  • Peavy tallied double figures 25 times, including reaching 20+ points on 15 occasions with 11 games coming during league action.
  • Tallied four double-doubles on the season and was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on five different occasions.
  • During the month of February, the Cibolo, Texas native averaged 24.2 ppg on 49.6% shooting (58-117), 6.5 rpg, 5.3 apg and 3.2 spg over a six-game stretch.
  • Against Providence (February 19) Peavy tallied 30 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and six steals becoming the first Division I player to reach all four numbers in a game since 2014.
  • Peavy was selected 40th overall by the Washington Wizards in the 2025 NBA Draft before his rights were traded to the New Orleans Pelicans.
 
2023-24 AT TCU
  • Started in all 34 games averaging 10.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game. Scored 20 or more points two times, including a season-high 26 points at Kansas State (2/17/24). Peavy scored in double figures 20 times on the season.
  • Recorded the third triple-double in program history with 13 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists against Arizona State (12/16/24), the same day he earned his undergraduate degree.
  • Recorded three or more steals in a game five times, including a season-high four against Texas A&M Commerce (1/1/24). Peavy recorded more 3-pointers during the 2023-24 season (26) than his first three collegiate seasons combined (21).
  • Recorded a double-double against No. 1 Houston (3/14/24) with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
 
2022-23 AT TCU
  • Played in 30 of 35 games making eight starts. Averaged 7.0 points and 3.1 rebounds averaging 21.1 minutes of action per game.
  • Named to the all-tournament team at the Emerald Coast Classic after averaging 12.0 points and 8.5 rebounds to lead TCU to the title.
  • Scored a season-high 16 points with seven field goals against Iowa (11/26/2023) in the championship game of the Emerald Coast Classic.
  • Scored in double figures 10 times.
 
2021-22 AT TCU
  • Played in all 34 games and made nine starts as he averaged 6.1 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.
  • Managed double-figure scoring seven times and had a then-career-high 16 points at Baylor (2/19/2022). Recorded a then-career-high 10 rebounds in his TCU debut against McNeese (11/11/21).
 
2020-21 AT TEXAS TECH
  • Started 25 of 29 games in his freshman season for the Red Raiders where he averaged 5.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.
  • He scored a season-high 14 points in the opener against Northwestern State and had a Big 12 best of 12 points in the home win over Iowa State where he was 6-for-8 from the field and also dished out three assists.
  • A starter in 16 of 17 Big 12 games, he averaged 5.5 points and 3.4 rebounds in conference play.
  • Peavy had a season-high seven rebounds in a pair of conference games, first at Kansas where he also scored 10 points against the Jayhawks and then again at home against TCU where he scored seven points.
  • Peavy completed the season with five games scoring in double figures and shot 45.9 percent from the field.
 
PRIOR TO COLLEGE
  • Attended Duncanville High School and in Cibolo, Texas, earning TABC Class 6A Player of the Year after averaging 19 points and 7.5 rebounds per game as a senior and was named to the Jordan Brand Classic roster.
  • Led Duncanville High School to a 2019 Class 6A State Championship as a junior where he averaged 16.0 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. Named 2019 State Championship Game MVP. As a senior, Peavy led Duncanville back to the UIL state tournament which was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • A consensus 4-star prospect by ESPN, Rivals and 247Sports and was the No. 2-ranked prospect in Texas according to Mike Kunstadt's Texas Hoops. Peavy was the No. 32-ranked player in the nation by ESPN and No. 34 by Rivals.
  • In Nike EYBL play, he was eighth in scoring after averaging 23.2 points per game and fourth with 10.1 rebounds per game. Peavy was one of four players to average a double-double on the Nike EYBL circuit in the summer following his junior season.
