- Appeared in 24 games making 23 starts before suffering a season ending injury in February.
- Sorber was named to the All-BIG EAST Third Team and was a unanimous selection to the All-Freshman Team. Also earned a nod to the NABC All-Mid Atlantic First Team.
- The Trenton, New Jersey native averaged 31.3 minutes per game. Sorber was the second-leading scorer, averaging 14.5 ppg. The freshman chipped in 8.5 rpg a mark that led the team. He added a squad-best 2.0 bpg and 2.4 apg while shooting 53.2% (133-250).
- Sorber earned BIG EAST Freshman of the Week honors seven times on the year before his season-ending injury.
- Scored a career-high 25 points while grabbing 15 boards against Providence (January 25). Tallied eight double-doubles on the season, a mark that ranked top five nationally among freshmen.
- Scored in double figures in 18 games and grabbed double figure rebounds 10 times.
- Drafted 15th overall by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2025 NBA Draft. Sorber became the 14th Hoya to be selected in the first round of the NBA Draft and the first since Otto Porter Jr.

- Thomas Sorber was ranked the No. 50 prospect overall in the class of 2024 and the No. 3 prospect out of Pennsylvania, according to 247Sports.com's composite rankings.
- As a senior, Sorber averaged a double-double as he tallied 18.9 ppg and grabbed 11.2 rpg. He also recorded 4.8 bpg to go along with 2.5 apg and 1.3 spg according to MaxPreps.
- Sorber is considered a well-rounded big man, who stuffed the stat-sheet with averages of 17.8 points, 11.2 rebounds, 4.2 blocks and 2.5 assists per game to help the Raiders (17-11) reach the Class 5A state semifinals during the 2022-23 season.
- On the EYBL circuit, Sorber averaged 10.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.2 blocks and 1.7 assists per game for Team Final at 2023 Nike EYBL Peach Jam.
