Joseph Agbasi (S’14), a New York City, N.Y. native, joined the Hoyas as director of football operations in spring 2014. He manages all day-to-day football operations, including travel, scheduling, team meals, practice coordination and game day operations. In addition, Agbasi serves as the team’s pro liaison to the National Football League and manages the team’s student interns and volunteers.
Prior to joining Georgetown, Agbasi was a program coordinator at Early Stages, the early intervention department for District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS). His efforts were instrumental in the creation of the Center’s grassroots, special education awareness campaign, which elevated the District’s national early identification ranking.
Before DCPS, Agbasi served as an account executive at Edelman Public Relations, where he planned and implemented global public relations campaigns for Fortune 500 companies.
Agbasi received his master’s degree in sports industry management from Georgetown University in 2014. He received his bachelor’s degree in speech communication from Valdosta State University in 2005.
