Amoako joins the Hoyas after spending the last two seasons as a Wide Receivers Coach at the College of San Mateo. Amoako has coached seven wideouts who have earned Division I Scholarships. Amoako has had coaching stints at Gavilan College as the Defensive Backs Coach and at De Anza College where they won the 2018 PAC 7 Championship.Â
Before coaching, Amoako was a defensive back at the University of Oregon and was a member of the 2014 PAC 12 Championship team that won the Rose Bowl and earned a berth in the first-ever College Football Playoff.Â
