Biography

2024:
  • Started in 10 games for the Hoyas. 
  • Completed 177 of 288 pass attempts for 1,871 yards (187.1 passing yards per game) and 11 touchdowns.
  • Set a season high of 343 passing yards, including a season high 77-yard pass against Brown on 9/21.
  • Connected on a season high of four touchdown passes against Colgate on 10/19.
  • Against Columbia, Lauter completed 25 passes, racking up 292 yards and two touchdowns to lead his team in bringing the Lou Little trophy back to the Hilltop.
     
2023:
  • Played in first collegiate game for the Hoyas. 
  • Set a new program record for single-game passing yards with 428 and tied the program record for single-game pass completions with 35.
  • Against then No. 19/21 Lafayette, the Connecticut native threw three touchdown passes, including one for 81 yards.
  • Patriot League Weekly Honorable Mention following performance against Lafayette 10/28.

2022:
  • Did not see any game action.
Prior to Georgetown: 
  • Attended The Brunswick School in Greenwich, Connecticut.
  • Helped team to the 2021 Mike Silipo Class A Bowl game as a senior.
  • A three-star recruit by 24/7 Sports.
  • As a junior, played on the U.S. Under-18 Select National Team and played in the 2020 High School International Bowl at AT&T Stadium.
  •  Won Gatorade MVP with FBU in Miami.
  • Also played outfield and third base for the Brunswick baseball team and helped the team win the FAA Championship as a freshman.
  • Followed in family's footsteps, joining father (Rose Bowl), grandfather and uncle (Reese’s Senior Bowl) to play collegiate football. His uncle also went on to play in the NFL.
  • Other grandfather was manager of the ‘59 Syracuse National Championship team.
