Prior to Georgetown: Was a two-year starter at George Ranch High School, serving as a team captain his senior year for head coach Ricky Tullos ... Named George Ranch's Most Valuable Player, first team all-district, first team all-academic and Houston-Area Scholar Athlete ... Helped lead George Ranch to two district championships, a regional championship and the 2015 Texas State 5A Championship ... Was awarded the Texas State 5A Championship Game Ball by Dave Campbell ... Finished career with over 250 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, six forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries and four interceptions ... Was also a member of the basketball and track & field teams ... Off the playing field, was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
