Biography

2024:
  • Appeared in four games for the Hoyas. 
  • Recorded 12 rush attempts for 33 yards and four receptions for 23 yards.
  • On special teams, tallied two kick returns for 24 yards.
Prior to Georgetown: 
  • Sumpter attended Chestnut Hill Academy in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
  • The running back  was a starter during his sophomore, junior and senior seasons.
  • Sumpter was named First-Team All-Catholic (2021), Second-Team All-Catholic (2022, 2023) and won the Outstanding Back Award (2022, 2023).
  • In 2023, Sumpter received the Kevin Kirk Award which awards the best new student with the biggest impact in the community.
  • In addition to football, Sumpter ran track at Chestnut Hill.
