Prior to Georgetown: 
  • Started all four years of high school and was named captain as a junior and senior.
  • Barrett helped to lead his team to become district champions in 2022 and 2023.
  • Named District Defensive Player of the Year (2022, 23, 24).
  • Named Region Defensive Player of the Year (2022).
  • Named First Team All-District (2022, 23, 24).
  • Named First Team All-Region (2022, 23, 24).
  • Named First Team All-State (2022, 23).
  • In addition to football, Barrett was the throwers team captain on the track and field team. Barrett was a three-time track and field state champion.
