- Played his senior season at Isidore Newman High School under head coach Randy Livingston.
- Won state title in Lafayette over Lafayette Christian, 56-47, the school’s first basketball title since 1993.
- Averaged 11.4 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.
- Also played three years at Hoover High School in Hoover, Alabama, where he played under coach Scott Ware, advancing to the regional three times and earning all-district honors.
