Biography

2025-26 AT KENTUCKY
  • Endured an injury-riddled season that resulted in season-ending shoulder surgery in January.
  • Appeared in nine total games and made two starts, averaging 8.0 ppg, 2.4 apg and 2.1 rpg in 18.4 mpg.
  • Managed a trio of games in double figures, including a season-best 21 points at Alabama on January 3. He added three rebounds, two assists and two steals to his final stat line.
  • Opened the season with back-to-back games dishing out five assists.
  • Named to the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll.
 
2024-25 AT PITTSBURGH
  • Named NABC Second Team All-District (Mid-Atlantic) and Third Team All-ACC.
  • Started all 31 games he appeared in, averaging 16.8 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 5.5 apg and 1.8 spg in 35.6 mpg.
  • His 16.8 ppg led the team in scoring.
  • One of eight players in Division I to average at least 16.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 5.5 assists.
  • Scored in double figures 26 times and topped 20 points a team-high 10 times.
  • Recorded five or more assists in 19 games.
  • Ranked top five in the ACC in free-throw percentage (2nd - 86.6%), steals (4th - 1.77), assists (T4 - 5.5) and minutes (T4 - 35.4).
  • Third player in program history with 500 or more points and 150 or more assists in a season.
  • Scored a career-high 28 points in a win at Ohio State on November 29.
  • Recorded sixth triple-double in program history with 11 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists against VMI on November 18.

2023-24 AT PITTSBURGH
  • Appeared in all 33 games with 19 starts, averaging 9.6 ppg, 3.3 apg and 2.8 rpg in 26.5 mpg as a freshman.
  • Averaged 12 points per game during the ACC regular season.
  • Scored in double figures 17 times, 16 coming against ACC opponents and twice hitting his season-best 20 points. The first time was against Syracuse on January 16 and he followed it up with a 20-point outing at NC State on February 7.
  • Recorded a double-double with 17 points and season-best 10 assists in a win over Florida State on March 5.
  • Named ACC Rookie of the Week on Jan. 22 after averaging 18.5 points and 4.5 assists per game against Syracuse and Duke.
  • Named to the all-ACC Academic team.
 
PRIOR TO COLLEGE
  • A four-star recruit who was the winner of the Guy V. Lewis Award, given to the top boys basketball player in the Greater Houston area.
  • Averaged 26.4 points, 8.1 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 3.1 steals and 2.3 blocks his senior year at Fort Bend Marshall.
  • Scored more than 2,000 career points and was a Texas all-state honoree.
  • Named to Jordan Brand Classic Team.
