2023: BIG EAST Champions … Played all 17 games on the top rope unit … Credited with three caused turnovers and 11 ground balls … Added three assists on the year … Had two ground balls against Providence (4/8) and No. 2/2 Virginia in the NCAA Tournament Quarterfinals … Had two assists against No. 10/12 Yale (5/13) in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament.
 
2022: BIG EAST Champions … Played all 17 games on the defensive midfield line … Key part of a Hoya defense that led the NCAA in scoring defense (8.18) … Collected 16 ground balls and was credited with six caused turnovers … Added two goals and four assists for six points … Tallied a goal and an assist in the season opener.
 
2021: BIG EAST Champions … Played in all 16 games for the Hoyas as a freshman … Credited with nine caused turnovers and 15 ground balls … Key part of the Georgetown defense that led the NCAA in scoring defense (8.31) and man-down defense (0.829) … Scored the game-winning goal with 1:16 remaining against Villanova (3/27) … Had two caused turnovers and three ground balls against No. 11 Syracuse in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament.
 
Prior to Georgetown: Earned three varsity letters at Haverford School, starting as a junior and senior … Named a team captain as a senior … Named First Team All-Inter Ac in 2019, Delaware County Honorable Mention in 2019 and was an Under Armour Underclass All-American in 2019 … Scored 29 points (17G, 12A) to go with 68 ground balls as a junior in 2019 … Also played basketball at Haverford, winning the 2018 and 2019 Inter Ac Championships and going an undefeated 28-0 to win the state title in 2019 … Played club lacrosse for Mesa.
 
Personal: Son of Leeann and Paul Leary … Oldest of three siblings … Younger brother, Brendan, is a freshman on the lacrosse team at Penn State … Dad played hockey at Fairfield and mom played tennis at Fairfield … grandfather, Bob McNeill, was an All-American basketball player at St. Joseph’s and went on to play in the NBA for the New York Knicks, Philadelphia Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers.
