Biography

High School:Earned the silver medal at theUSRowing Youth National Championships in the Women[apos]s Varsity Eight and won the gold medal at the NEIRA championships in the same event her senior year.

Freshman (2010):Coxed the First Freshmen Eight and coxed the Lightweight Four at the 2009 Head of the Charles.

Sophomore (2011):Coxed the Varsity Lightweight Eight to third place at the 2010 Princeton Chase, a best ever performance for Georgetown Crew.

Junior (2012): Coxed the Varsity Lightweight Eight to a fourth place finish at the IRA Championship, a duel season record of 7-2 including a first ever victory of the Fosburgh Cup duel race, a fourth place finish at the 2011 Head of the Charles Regatta, and a third place finish at the 2011 Princeton Chase.

Katie is a Science, Technology, and International Affairs major in the Walsh School of Foreign Service. She works for the Corp and is involved with New Student Orientation. Katie[apos]s older sister Allison, an accomplished rower and NCAA champion, has been a role model to Katie since 1992 and is currently the assistant coach for the Hoyas Freshmen Lightweight rowing squad.
