Prior to Georgetown:A three-year member of the varsity rowing squad at Saint Edwards, Barry served as the team captain in both his junior and senior years ... He helped Saint Edwards reach the finals in both the 2014 Stotesburg Cup and the 2013 Scholastic Nationals as well as win a Scholastic State Championship in the men's varsity 4+ in 2014 ... Also played one year of football, lacrosse and swimming ... Off the water, Barry was a AP Scholar-Athlete with honrs and was president of his school's National Honor Society.
