Prior to Georgetown (2019-22)
- Played over two seasons with the UConn Huskies before coming to the Hilltop.
- Akok appeared in 23 games, starting seven and averaging 3.4 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 14.0 minutes per game during the 2021-22 season
- Played limited minutes during the 2020-21 campaign, averaging 1.3 ppg, 0.4 rpg and 1.0 bpg through seven contests
- During the 2019-20 season, he started in 24 of his 25 appearances, averaging 5.8 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.6 blocks in 28.1 minutes per game, while shooting 41.3% from the floor
- Ranked 15th in the country with 2.6 bpg (2019-20) and led the American Athletic Conference, logging a career-high seven blocks to go along with a personal-best 13 points and seven rebounds against Tulsa (Jan. 26, 2020)

- Attended Putnam Science Academy for two seasons (2017-19)
- Ranked 63rd in ESPN 100 recruit for class of 2019
- Named second-best recruit for state of New Hampshire class of 2019
- Helped lead PSA to the National Prep Basketball Championship in 2017-18, scoring 11 points in the finals.
