Camryn Dolby comes to the Hilltop after spending the past three seasons as a private coach at Sixfour3 in Ashburn, Virginia for pitching, hitting and defense.

Before Georgetown, Dolby served as a private coach for pitching, hitting and defense at SixFour3 for three years.
During her playing career, Dolby spent three years between Boston College and South Florida as a pitcher. In her junior season at South Florida (2020-21), she appeared in 16 games and started six, going 3-3 with a 6.56 ERA in 33.2 innings pitched.
During her sophomore year (2019-20), she finished with a 2-4 record, tallying 33 strikeouts in 38 innings pitched. Dolby threw two complete games that season, which included a shutout against Texas Tech. Dolby also excelled in the classroom, earning all-academic AAC honors in 2019-20.
Dolby started her collegiate playing career at Boston College, where she finished with a 10-10 record as a freshman, striking out 116 batters in 101 innings pitched. She started 15 games, and had two complete games with one of them being a shutout.
Before her collegiate playing career, Dolby was a four-year varsity starter at Woodgrove High School where she set the Virginia state record as a sophomore with a 15.9 strikeouts per game average. For her high school career, Dolby had an ERA of 0.54 across 485 career innings pitched. Dolby ranks in the top-10 in five categories in the Virginia High School League records including first in average strikeouts per game (15.9), second in wins in a season (23), ninth in strikeouts in a season (313), ninth in consecutive shutouts (5) and 10th in strikeouts in a single game (18). Dolby is a two-time Virginia State Player of the Year, was a 4A Virginia State Runner-Up in 2015, a 4A Virginia State Champion in 2016-18 and was a four-time first-team all-state selection.
Dolby graduated from South Florida in 2021 with a degree in communications and a minor in criminology. Camryn and her husband, Jackson live in Purcellville, Virginia.
