Prior to Georgetown
- Completed a prep year at Oak Hill Academy after closing his high school career at Nicolet in Wisconsin
- Helped Nicolete to the Division 2 state title his senior year as he averaged 19.1 ppg and 7.4 rpg while shooting 59 percent from the floor for the season
- At the Division 2 state tournament, he averaged 18 points and 7.5 rebounds per game while posting 23 points and grabbing nine rebounds in the title game
