Biography

Prior to Georgetown (Denison): 

2024 (Senior):
  • Appeared in 49 of the 50 games, starting in all 49
  • Led Denison with 7 home runs
  • Was second on the Big Red with a 1.108 OPS, 63 runs, 80 hits, 23 doubles, 132 total bases, .641 slugging percentage, and 28 walks
  • His 416 putouts in 2024 is a program record for a single season
  • Named NCAC Player of the Week (3/5/24). He hit .636 (7-for-11) with eight RBI, six runs, five walks, four stolen bases, and two doubles.
  • Went 6-6 with 4 runs, 3 doubles, 1 home run, and two RBIs in a 16-7 win over Wooster on April 13th
  • In his 4 year career, Leib ranks third in at doubles (51), fourth slugging percentage (.606), sixth in walks (79), eighth in runs (135), and ninth in runs batted in (132)
  • Was named to the NCAC All-Tournament team after hitting 10-20 (.500) with nine runs scored, and four RBI's during Denison's three games

  • Was second in hits with 64, and was tied for second with eight home runs, and three triples 
  • Ranked third on the team with 52 runs scored and was fourth with 10 stolen bases
  • In all of NCAA Division III, Leib was tied for 16th in RBI's, tied for 20th in walks and tied for 35th in doubles
  • 39 walks tied the program record for a single season set by Max Lahn (2019)
  • 61 RBI's rank as the third most in a single season in program history
  • 112 total bases rank as the fifth most in a single season in program history
  • 52 runs scored rank as the ninth most in a single season in program history
  • Eight home runs were tied for the ninth most in a single season in program history

  • Named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week (Mar. 13-19) after hitting .588 (10-for-17) with a .696 on base percentage and a 1.294 slugging percentage during a 3-1 week for the Big Red. He also finished with 10 RBI's, seven runs scored, six walks, three home runs, three doubles and a stolen base on the week. Leib was 5-for-5 with five RBI's, three runs, three walks, two home runs and two doubles during Denison's 25-23 marathon win over Arcadia (Mar. 13). He also broke the Denison record for total bases in a game with 13. Leib was then 2-for-4 with two runs scored, including the game-tying run in the eighth inning, and led off the top of the fourth inning with a home run to right field to start the scoring during Denison's 6-2 win over Farmingdale State (Mar. 15). Lastly, he was 2-for-4 with four RBI's, two runs and a double during a 21-11 win over New Jersey City (Mar. 18)
  • Hit two home runs in one game for the second time on the season at Oberlin (May 7)
  • Was named to the NCAC All-Tournament team after hitting 6-for-11 (.545) with six runs scored, four RBI's, four walks, three stolen bases, two doubles and a home run during Denison's three games 
  • In the NCAA Granville Regional, Leib had a two-run triple in Denison's win over Beloit (May 19) and had two hits in both games against No. 12 Baldwin Wallace and Spalding during day two (May 20)
  • Named Second-Team All-Region (ABCA/Rawlings) and First-Team All-NCAC
  • Named to the Academic All-District® Team
  • Ranks ninth in program history in career slugging percentage (.576) entering his season season
2022 (Sophomore):
  • Appeared in 24 games with 18 starts
  • Hit. 274 with 17 hits, 19 runs scored, nine doubles, 12 RBI's, 10 walks and five stolen bases
  • Had a .988 fielding percentage with only one error while splitting time at first base
  • Had 82 putouts and helped turn seven double plays
2021 (First-Year):
  • Appeared in ten games
  • Making three starts in freshman season
  • First career hit came in win over Wabash on April 7th
