Biography

Nolan on Araps - 'Cristina is one of the fastest players in the conference. As a result she will likely be featured up front for us, causing havoc amongst opposing defenses this season. She has emerged as a quiet leader for us and will help lead this team in her final season.'

2005 - Appeared in seven games and earned six starts as a midfielder ... Took three shots, two on goal.

2004 - Played in all 19 games for the Hoyas while starting 15 ... Tallied four points on the season ... Scored the game-winning goal in the season opener over Howard ... Handed out two assists during the season, including the game-tying assist against Villanova.

2003 - Named to the BIG EAST All-Rookie Team ... Saw action in all 19 of the Hoyas[apos] games, and started 14 ... Her pressuring defense was critical in Georgetown[apos]s shutout victories over Syracuse, Providence and Virginia Tech ... Proved to be one of Georgetown[apos]s top cover defenders against leading offensive opponents.

Prior to Georgetown - Four-year high school starter and team MVP ... All-county selection and fi rst-team all-conference ... 1998 State Cup fi nalist and winner of the 1998 JAGS tournament ... Member of the 2000 National Champion New Jersey ODP state team and 2001 Region I Pool selection ... Played for the PDA Torpedoes Club Team.
