GEORGETOWN WOMEN'S SOCCER
                  
        

Here at Georgetown, student-athletes are provided with a world-class education, as well as outstanding athletic programs. The women's soccer team, a proud member of the BIG EAST, has seen much success in its 26 years on the Hilltop, including, just recently, its third-straight BIG EAST Championship title, back-to-back regular season titles and two trips to the College Cup within three years.

ACADEMICS 
                                                                                                        
Georgetown is home to a vibrant community of accomplished students, distinguished faculty members and committed professional staff. Together, we use different methods of innovative teaching, including dialog and new technology, to realize our passion for learning across disciplines, campuses and continents. Academics at Georgetown is heavily influenced by our Jesuit tradition of educating the whole person.

FACILITIES
Student-athletes utilize the John R. Thompson Jr. Intercollegiate Athletic Center as its main facility. The Thompson Center has transformed the athletics experience at Georgetown with a facility that supports the demands that the student-athletes face on a daily basis. 

Shaw Field is the home of the Georgetown women's soccer team and is located right on campus. The field surface is natural grass, while possessing a seating capacity of 1,625. 

COLLEGE CUP 
Within the past three seasons, the women's soccer team has made two College Cup appearances. In 2018, the Hoyas earned a No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament to go on one of their most successful runs in program history. 

SUCCESS OF HOYA STUDENT-ATHLETES
Hard work pays off for the Hoyas. Many student-athletes at Georgetown have found success on and off the field, receiving awards for both their athletic and academic achievements. However, the hard work doesn't end on the Hilltop. While many Hoyas move on to find successful careers in the workforce after graduating, some continue their soccer career and play at the professional level.
