                        Nolan on DesJardin: 'Jackie is an important part of the puzzle for us ... A tremendous athlete, she has worked very hard to make herself, in my opinion, the best goalkeeper in the conference ... She can dominate her box in the air, is a great shot stopper and has really matured as a goalkeeper in her time with us.'
2009:  Started 17 games ... Carried an 11-3-2 record and a 0.84 goals-against average ... Posted nine shutouts ... One of eight players to log more than 1,500 minutes last season (1,501) ... Set the school record for most career shutouts in Georgetown[apos]s BIG EAST Conference opener, a 4-0 win over Villanova ... Named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Aug. 24 after a shutout of American ... Selected to the BIG EAST Academic Honor Roll.
2008 - Started 18 games for the Hoyas and was named a NSCAA/adidas Mid-Atlantic Region All-American ... ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District selection ... Third Team All-BIG EAST choice after breaking her own single-season shutout and goals-against average totals from 2007 ... Helped Georgetown set single-season records for fewest goals allowed (14) and most shutouts (11) ... Had seven shutouts in BIG EAST play and was named the conference[apos]s Goalkeeper of the Week for October 27 ... Named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll three times and was a Soccer America Team of the Week selection.
2007 - Tied the GU single-season record for shutouts with seven... Started 16 games last season and won 11 of them... Recorded a 0.77 goals-against average along with a .789 save percentage...  Earned a shutout victory in five of Georgetown[apos]s first six games of 2007... Earned BIG EAST shutouts over Seton Hall and DePaul... Named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll twice.
Prior to Georgetown - DesJardin was a member of the De Anza Force and played at Archbishop Mitty, traditionally one the best soccer schools in the nation. She was a dual sport athlete at Archbishop Mitty where she also excelled in softball.  The two-time scholar athlete of the year was also a CCS honorable mention.
