Georgetown's men's swimming and diving team lost to Miami, 174-86, on Saturday. The team is still winless on the season with an 0-6 record.
Individually, John Willey (Sr., Riverside, Conn./Greenwich) posted a second-place time of 1:47.77 in the 200-yard freestyle, while Chris Lengle (So., Arlington, Va./Washington-Lee) also placed second in the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 48.42. Both relay teams were very successful as the team of Willey, Will Miller (So., Farmingdale, N.J./Freehold Boro), Michael Mariani (So., Belleair, Fla./Berkely Prep), and Brendan Moynihan (Sr., New Canaan, Conn./New Canaan) was second in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:31.67, while the combination of Moynihan, Richard Dennis (Jr., Waterville, Maine/Waterville), Bryan Evangelista (Fr., Northport, N.Y./St. Anthony's), and Lengle touched the wall in a third-place time of 1:41.62 in the 200-yard medley relay.
