WASHINGTON, D.C. (November 6) - Freshman Jordan Botjer (Miami, Fla./Ransom Everglades) and senior Julie Hom (Newton, Mass./Newton South) represented Georgetown University at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Eastern Regional Championship hosted by the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Va., November 4-7.

Botjer fell in the first round of the tournament to Alena Mitackova of Hampton University, 6-2, 6-3. Botjer teamed up with Hom in doubles competition. The Hoyas were defeated by William & Mary's Carlijn Buis and Delphine Troch, 8-4, in the first round.

This tournament wraps up the fall season for the Georgetown University women's tennis team. The squad finished its season with a record of 2-4.
