WASHINGTON, D.C. ? The Georgetown University golf team participated in the Tillinghast at the Quaker Ridge Golf Club in Scarsdale, New York. The tournament was held from October 22 to October 23. The University of Illinois won the two-round 20-team invitational.
Sophomore James Farrah (Potomac, Md./Georgetown Prep) was the leading Hoya, finishing with a two round total of 157. Senior Tristan Lewis (Pepper Pike, Ohio/Western Reserve Academy), sophomore Nick Cook (Shelton, Conn./Fairfield Prep), and sophomore Peter Rivas (New Orleans, La./Jesuit) all finished with a score of 158.
The Hoyas next match will take place on the weekend of October 28-29, at the Hoya Invitational at the Landsdowne Resort in Leesburg, Va.
