Men' Soccer Drops BIG EAST Contest to Virginia Tech

The Georgetown Hoyas men?s soccer team traveled to Virginia Tech today and fell 4-1 to the Hokies. With the loss Georgetown?s overall records falls to 5-8 and 3-4 in the BIG EAST.

Virginia Tech took a late 1-0 lead in the first half on a redirected shot off Matt Bright?s foot. Georgetown was able to tie the game early in the second stanza when Kemmons Feldman (Eden Prarie, Minn./ Minnehaha Academy) scored his team leading fifth goal off an assist from fellow freshman Benjamin Jefferson-Dow (Seattle, Wash./ Roosevelt). Virginia Tech countered three minutes later and then added two more goals to give the Hokies the final 4-1 margin.

Georgetown comes home this Saturday, October 26 for an important BIG EAST contest with Notre Dame at 1 p.m. on North Kehoe Field.
