WASHINGTON - Georgetown University men's soccer junior
Eric Howard was named Second Team Scholar All-American by the United Soccer Coaches on Thursday afternoon when the organization announced its individual academic awards. To be eligible for Scholar All-American recognition, student-athletes must have been an all-region selection, have a 3.40 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) or better throughout their career, started more than 75 percent of all games, significantly contribute to their team and be a junior or above in academic standing.
Howard is the seventh honoree in Georgetown program history and the first since Ryan Schewe in 2023. He is one of four BIG EAST Conference student-athletes to earn recognition.
