The Skinny
A pivotal BIG EAST match tips off tonight as the Pittsburgh Panthers try to right the ship against the Hoyas. Pitt has dropped five of the last six games, all five losses coming to BIG EAST opponents. Georgetown has lost three in a row and looks to even its BIG EAST record once again with a win.

The two programs split the 2001-02 series, each defeating the other on its home court. The away team has won four of the last five meetings dating back to the 1998-99 season.

With her 10th double-double of the season, Rebekkah Brunson continues to post some of the most impressive numbers in the BIG EAST, averaging 18.4 points per game and grabbing 11.7 rebounds per outing. Mary Lisicky continues her rain of three balls, averaging nearly three hits per game. Laine Selwyn leads the Panthers averaging 15.1 points per game and dishing 6.9 assists per contest. Brooke Stewart and Mandy Wittenmyer each average in double-digit scoring, notching 12.3 and 11.8 points per game.
