New Georgetown Swimming and Diving Coaches Announced

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Georgetown Head Swimming and Diving Coach Bethany Bower announced the hirings of the program's new diving coach and assistant swim coach.

Carrie Bromberg will take over for Amy Kress as the team's diving coach, while Monica Nista replaces Dismas Locaria as the assistant swim coach.

Kress left the team after eight seasons, and is being replaced by, Bromberg, a 1985 graduate of N.C. State, who qualified for the NCAA Regionals her freshman year. Bromberg is the head coach of Metro Dive Club of Washington DC, a position she has held for the past five years.
 
Nista graduated from the University of Virginia in 2001, and swam for four years while majoring in French. She has worked at both the Harvard and UVA swim camps. Nista replaces Dismas Locaria, who recently finished Law school.
