WASHINGTON, DC ? Georgetown made the most of its Senior Recognition Day with a 3-0 (30-28, 30-28, 30-21) sweep of BIG EAST foe Seton Hall on Sunday, November 14, at McDonough Gym.  The Hoyas close out the 2004 season with a 17-12 overall record and a 4-6 mark in BIG EAST play.  Seton Hall falls to 9-23 overall and 2-8 in Conference action.

          Junior middle blocker Rachel Nelson (Sacramento, Calif./St. Francis) led all players in kills with 13 in addition to four digs.  Senior middle blocker Sara Albert (Davis, Calif./Davis) and freshman outside hitter Patty Carroll (Glen Ellyn, Ill./Glenbard South) each finished with a match-high 12 kills.  Albert added a match-high six blocks and a .667 hitting percentage, while Carroll chipped in a match-high 14 digs. 

          Freshman setter Kate Fisher (Menlo Park, Calif./Menlo) dished out a match-high 40 assists and dug nine balls.  Fisher shared the setting duties with senior Margaret Vernon (Denver, Colo./Kent Denver School), who ended the night with nine assists and a block.  Junior middle blocker Jenny Weed (Salt Lake City, Utah/Utah Valley College) wrapped up the match with eight kills, five blocks and four digs, while sophomore middle blocker Annie Connor (Los Altos, Calif./St. Francis) donated seven kills, three blocks and three digs to the winning Hoya effort.  Freshman Katie Nulty (Santa Barbara, Calif./Laguna Blanca) had nine digs from the libero?s position.

          Three players reached double figures in hitting for the Pirates.  Alex Dyer, Allison Scholl and Amber Davis each tallied 10 kills in the losing effort.
