WASHINGTON, D.C. - Georgetown University?s men?s soccer program today released its finalized 2004 game schedule. Some highlights on the schedule are two teams that were in the NCAA semi-finals last season, Maryland and St. John?s, and two tournaments, the D.C. College Cup and the University of Maryland Tournament.
Head Coach Keith Tabatznik will look to garner his 200th career victory at Georgetown in 2004 as he currently boasts a 199-170-20 career record. The Hoyas open the season on Wednesday, September 1st, at home against Delaware and then participate in back-to-back tournaments with the D.C. Cup and the University of Maryland Tournament. The BIG EAST season begins on Saturday, September 18th at Notre Dame. Georgetown faces perennial power St. John?s on September 22nd. The Hoyas end the season with a four-game home stand beginning with a showdown against B.C. on October 23rd and completing the regular season on November 2nd against VMI.
