WASHINGTON, D.C.?Georgetown University?s sailing team competed in three sailing invitationals the weekend of September 11-12. The Hoyas traveled to Dartmouth for the Captain Hurst Bowl, to Navy for the Navy Laser Open, and to Old Dominion for the Riley Cup.

As a team, the Hoyas placed in the top 20 in two events, finishing fourth at the Riley Cup with 132 points, and 18th at the Captain Hurst Bowl with 126 points. The Navy Laser Open had three individuals place in the top 25.

At the Captain Hurst Bowl, Steve Streit and Emily Siguler represented the Hoyas in the ?A? division with 73 points, while Ed DuMoulin and Julia Graham paced Georgetown in the ?B? division with 53 points. In the Navy Laser Open, Langdon Mitchell and JB Tourney finished 15th and 16th, with 195 and 216 points respectively. Berry Kurland was close behind, finishing 23rd with 308 points.
