Milwaukee, Wisc. - The Georgetown University men's soccer team took home a 1-0 decision on the road at Marquette this evening. The Hoyas improve to 9-7 overall, 5-4 in BIG EAST action with two regular season games remaining and qualify for a berth in the league tournament.

Junior Dan Grasso (Burr Ridge, Ill./Hinsdale Cent.) took a turnover deep in the MU end and looped a shot over MU goalkeeper Steven Grow in the 34th minute. It was Grasso's second goal in the last three games.

Marquette played most of the match with a man advantage as a GU player was sent off with a red card in the 36th minute.

Marquette had a good opportunity 15 minutes into the second half, but Georgetown goalkeeper junior Andrew Keszler (Bethesda, Md./Walt Whitman) made a save at the top of the cross bar and controlled the rebound.

In the 71st minute, Marquette had a chance with the net empty but Keszler came off his line to knock the ball out of play.

Georgetown had four corner kicks to the Golden Eagles two while Keszler made seven saves, his second best output of the season.

Georgetown will be back in action on Wednesday, October 26, when they host Pittsburgh in the Hoyas' final regular-season home game of the season on North Kehoe Field. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
