Washington, D.C. - The Georgetown crew program took part in the Princeton Chase on Sunday, hosted by Princeton University.
The Hoyas afternoon was highlighted by a third place in the men's lightweight eight. With a time of 15:22.49, Georgetown finished less than four seconds behind the winning Princeton squad. In the same race, the Hoya B boat was 16th with a time of 16:07.07.
Georgetown posted three other top-ten finishes in the men's lightweight eight, the men's heavyweight four and the men's small boat. In the light eight, the A team finished sixth with a time of 13:48.88, just over 12 seconds behind Penn. Meanwhile, in the heavy four, the A squad was seventh with a time of 15:26.49 and in the men's and women's small boat event, the men's two crossed ninth at 17:27.09.
