2005 Rivanna Romp Results

Washington, D.C. - The Georgetown men's crew team took part in the Rivanna Romp on Sunday at the University of Virginia.

In the varsity eight, the Hoyas A crew finished second behind host Virginia with a time of 12:46.69. The B eight crossed in fifth at 13:42.95 in the seven crew race.

Georgetown would also put a varsity four crew into the water, finishing third of nine crews at 15:01.83, behind only Cincinnati and Virginia.

To end the afternoon for the Hoyas and the Cavaliers, split up and raced in a two-man event. Georgetown finished one-two, as the B squad crossed at 16:03.02 and the B finished at 16:09.03. The Hoya C pair was fifth, ahead of the Virginia C, with a time of 16:22.12.
