Newark, DE-- The Georgetown University women's tennis team fell 6-1 to Delaware on Tuesday, April 16 at the Delaware Field House Tennis Courts.

Delaware took two of the three doubles matches. Kristin Dew (Nashville, TN/Webb School) and Sana Malouf (McLean, VA/St. Stephen's & St. Agnes) claimed victory at number two doubles, 8-4.

Liddy Bartell (Rancho Santa Fe, CA/Torrey Pines) posted the only victory for Georgetown at number two singles, winning 6-2, 6-0. Adriann Gin (Honolulu, HI/Punahou School) lost a close match, going three sets, yet falling (6-2,3-6,6-3).

The Hoyas will next host Longwood at 1 p.m. in their final regular season matchup at McDonough Tennis Courts.
